पात्रता
- 2nd year of study and have written the examination to enter 3rd year or;
- studying in the 3rd year of three-year degree course or;
- the students studying in the 4th year who have written examination to enter 5th year or;
- studying in the 5th year of five-year degree course.
अपवाद
- The Internship is neither employment nor an assurance of employment with the Department.
- No TA/DA or remuneration other than Honorarium will be paid to the Interns by the Department of Justice.
- Candidates who have completed their internship with Department of Justice during earlier years and earlier Batches will not be considered for internship programme of the Department of Justice for the Current Financial Year.

Fill the complete application form by choosing the Month of Internship and uploading all the documents. - Click Submit.
- The last date for application for the Ist slot will be 05.06.2024.
- The last date for application for the 2nd slot will be 05.07.2024.
- The last date for application for the 3rd slot will 05.08.2024.

- Passing Certificate/Degree/Marksheet of Graduation/Post Graduation
- A Letter from the Supervisor/Head of the Department/Principal indicating their Status in the Institution
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Institution
- Proof of Identity
- Proof of Address
- Identity Card/Proof of Enrolment into the Institute
- Details of the Bank Account (for the disbursement of stipend)
- File name should not contain any Special Characters.
- Only JPG and PNG formats are allowed for Photograph & Signature and PDF/JPG/PNG format for NOC.
- All Files should be less than 100 KB.

What Shall Be The Amount Of Stipend Paid To The Interns?
The interns may be given an honorarium of ₹ 5,000/- on completion of their internship.
To Which Divisions Of The DoLA Will The Interns Be Attached?
Each selected intern shall be posted with an officer of the level of Assistant Legal Adviser/Deputy Legal Adviser/ Additional Legal Adviser/Joint Secretary & Legal Adviser/Additional Secretary/O/o the Law Secretary/ O/o the Minister of State (Law & Justice)/ O/o Minister of Law & Justice/Branch Secretariats and the Law Officers of Govt. of India with the approval of the Competent Authority.
Students From Which Education Streams Can Apply For This Internship?
The students of Law streams may undertake internships in the Department.
What Shall Be The Deliverables On The Part Of The Interns?
At the end of the Internship Programme, all the interns will be required to submit a report on the work undertaken in this Department.
Can School Students Also Apply For This Internship?
The applicant should be ANY ONE of the following - 1. An Indian student pursuing studies in the 2nd/3rd year of a three-year degree course from any recognized college/law school/university. 2. An Indian student pursuing studies in the 3rd/4th/5th year of a five-year degree course from any recognized college/law school/university. 3. An Indian student who has completed his/her LLB course from any recognized college/law school/university.
How Many Interns Are Taken In A Month?
The maximum number of interns to be allowed in a given month will be between 10 and 30.
What Shall Be The Duration Of The Internship?
The duration of the internship ordinarily remains for a period of one month.
Will Library Facility Be Provided By The DoLA To The Interns?
Library Facility at the Main Secretariat is limited to referencing only; borrowing of books/journals is not extended to the interns. However, photocopies may be obtained from the Library.
Does This Internship Guarantee Placement In DoLA?
There will be no commitment to the placement of interns in the Ministry/Department or allied/ subordinate organizations.
When Will The "Certificate Of Internship" Be Awarded To The Interns?
Yes, on satisfactory completion of the internship, a Certificate of Internship shall be awarded.
