1. Under the scheme, an umbrella will be provided to registered building & construction workers free of cost to protect construction workers from rain and sun.

1. The applicant/beneficiary should be a resident of Uttarakhand.
2. The applicant should be engaged in any building or construction work.
3. The applicant should be registered under the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board.
4. The applicant will become eligible for benefits only after three months from their registration.
5. The applicant should have an active membership of the Board.
6. The beneficiary will receive the benefit only once in their entire lifetime.
7. The applicant should not have received the same benefits from any other scheme.

Documents required for New Registration:

1. Two Passport size photographs
2. Proof of age
3. Certificate of working as a construction worker for at least 90 days in the previous year
4. Affidavit of construction worker attested by notary
5. Voter ID card
6. Ration card
7. Self-declaration certificate
8. Identity proof of Nominee i.e. Aadhaar Card
9. Bank account details
10. Any other document as required

Documents required for Welfare Scheme:

1. Self-attested copy of Registration ID Card of Worker/Labour Card
2. Self-attested Copy of Aadhaar Card of worker
3. Mobile Number
4. Self-declaration certificate
5. Any other document as required
