Unemployment Allowance Scheme is a Scheme of Himachal Pradesh Government.
• This is a scheme for educated unemployed youth of Himachal Pradesh State.
• It was launched in the year 2017.
• Under this scheme, Himachal Pradesh Government provide unemployment allowance to the educated unemployed youth of the state.
• The amount of assistance under this scheme is :-
o Rs. 1,000/- per month will be given to the Post Graduate Applicant.
o Rs. 1,000/- per month will be given to the Graduate Applicant.
o Rs. 1,000/- per month will be given to the 10+2 passed Applicant.
o And Rs. 1,500/- per month will be given to the eligible Physically Challenged Applicant.
• The objective of this scheme is to create stability in the lives of educated unemployed youth.
• Only those applicants who are between 20 to 35 years of age are eligible to apply.
• Applicants who have 10+2 or more qualification are eligible to take benefits under this scheme.
• Only those applicants are eligible who have completed their studies from any school/board/university recognized by the Himachal Pradesh Government.

• Application Process: To apply online, applicant has to visit E Portal of Labour and Employment Department of Himachal Pradesh.
• Enter the Employment Exchange Registration Number and Date of Birth, and then click to proceed.
• Fill the below mentioned details correctly :-
o Applicants Name.
o Father's Name.
o Mother's Name.
o Spouse's Name.
o Sex (Male/Female).
o Date of Birth.
o Age on the Date of Application.
o Religion.
o Category.
o Sub Category.
o Permanent Address.
o Correspondence Address.
o Name of the Employment Exchange where Registered.
o Registration Number.
o Registration Date.
o Educational Qualification Details.
o Annual Family Income of the Applicant.
o Aadhar Number.
o Applicant's Bank Account Details (Bank Account Details must be verified by the Bank with the stamp and signature of the concerned authority).
• Take a print out of the filled Application Form.
• Attach below mentioned documents with the application form :-
o Attested Copy of Employment Registration Card.
o Attested Copy of Income Certificate. (Not more than 6 months old).
o Himachal Pradesh Unemployment Allowance Scheme Self Certified Declaration Form C.
o Attested Copy of Domicile of Himachal Pradesh.
o Attested Copy of all the Educational Qualification Certificates.
o Attested Copy of Aadhar Card.
• The Application Form and all the attached documents will have to be submitted to the District/Sub Employment Exchange Office.
• Scrutiny of the application will be done by the Employment Exchange Office.
• The Selection and Rejection of the applications will be decided within 45 days.
• Further action on the application will be intimated to the applicants through SMS.
