A grant of ₹1,20,000/- will be provided to the eligible beneficiary for the construction of a dwelling house.

No, the applicant should not be a beneficiary under any other Social Security pension scheme or a recipient of Government pension or pension from any other organization.

No, for receiving a housing grant, the person does not have a pucca dwelling house of his or her own but if he or she shall have a piece of land in his name.

Application Forms shall be submitted to (a) The Block Development Officer in case the applicant residing in the rural areas; (b) The Sub-Divisional Officer in case the applicant is residing in Municipal / Notified Areas outside the areas of Kolkata Municipal Corporation and to the Municipal Commissioner, Kolkata Municipal Corporation in case the applicant is residing in Kolkata Municipal Corporation area.

The submitted application form is verified at the respective Office of SDO/BDO.
