The Government of Uttar Pradesh initiated a scheme "Raja Harishchandra Shramik Mrityu Antim Sanskar Sahayata Yojana" for the financial assistance to the families of deceased workers.

Financial benefits are provided.

Financial Assistance of ₹10,000/- will be provided.

The applicant must be employed in a registered factory, commercial establishment, or shop in Uttar Pradesh

It is mandatory to apply within one year from the date of death of the worker.

Financial assistance will be payable to the worker's spouse or dependent (son/unmarried daughter), mother/father in case the worker is unmarried.

The applicant worker's monthly salary (basic pay + dearness allowance) should not exceed ₹15,000/-.
