1. Under the scheme, financial assistance of ₹10,000/- will be given to women registered construction workers during their maternity period.

1. The applicant should be a resident of Uttarakhand.
2. The applicant should be a woman and engaged in any building or construction work.
3. The applicant should be registered under the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
4. The applicant will become eligible for benefits only after three months from their registration.
5. The applicant should have an active membership of the Board.
6. It is mandatory for the woman construction worker to submit the application for the required benefits within two months from the date of delivery in the office of the Secretary, Welfare Board, through the Registration Officer of the concerned area.
7. This assistance is given only on the birth of two children.
8. The beneficiary should not have received the same benefits under any other scheme of the central or state Governments, and should not have applied in any other department for the same benefits.

Documents required for New Registration:

1. Two Passport size photographs
2. Proof of age
3. Certificate of working as a construction worker for at least 90 days in the previous year
4. Affidavit of construction worker attested by notary
5. Voter ID card
6. Ration card
7. Self-declaration certificate
8. Identity proof of Nominee i.e. Aadhaar Card
9. Bank account details
10. Any other document as required

Documents required for Welfare Scheme:

1. Self-attested copy of Registration ID Card of Worker/Labour Card
2. Copy of Aadhaar Card
3. Certified copy of the ANC Card
4. A certificate issued by the Medical Officer regarding maternity
5. A self-written certificate stating that the beneficiary has not received any similar assistance under the schemes being run under the Central or State Government or has not applied to any other department for such assistance.
