The objective of the scheme is to provide financial support to pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh who undertake the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage, to help with the expenses incurred during the journey.

The scheme reimburses 50% of the total expenses incurred during the pilgrimage, up to a maximum of ₹30,000 per pilgrim.
