Details
- Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC and State PublicServices Commissions.
- Entrance examination for professional courses for students with science stream i.e. Engineering, Medical.
- Judicial Services Examination.
- Entrance examination for other professional courses i.e. CLAT
- Eligible students can take online coaching from any of the concerned Empanelled Coaching institutes.
- Students also have option to join non Empanelled Coaching Institutes and get fee reimbursement subject to limit prescribed under the scheme.
Benefits
- 75 % of the coaching fee as prescribed under the scheme will be paid to the institute or re-imbursed to the students.
- Stipend of Rs. 2500 per month will be paid to the students directly in their bank accounts during the course period.
Eligibility
- Residents of Delhi & belonging to SC/ST/OBC / EWS Categories.
- Annual family income limit is up to Rs. 8 lacs.
- Passed 10th and 12th class from schools in Delhi
- Full fills eligibility Criteria for the specific competitive Exam.
Application Process
- For Empanelled Institutes:-
- Students can directly apply to the institute for admission in the annexed prescribed format .
- The institute will enroll the students based on full-fillment of eligibility criteria and availability of seats.
- After enrollment of students, institute shall submit complete list of such admitted students to the Department within seven days from the start of Coaching programme.
- List of empanelled Institutes along with number of seats allotted is available on the website here.
- For Non Empanelled Institute:-
- Students can directly apply in the prescribed format indicating the Coaching center.
- Envelope containing the application shall super scribed on top in the Bold letters , “ Application for coaching under Jai bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna”
- Application shall be submitted to , the Deputy Director (Implementation ), Department for the Welfare of SCs, STs, OBCs , GNCT of Delhi, Vikas Bhawan, B-Block, 2nd Floor, I.P. Estate, New Delhi between on any working days within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the newspapers.
- Applications of the students will be scrutinized in the Department and all eligible students allowed to avail coaching from non empanelled institute of their choice subject to availability of seats.
- In case, number of applications under particular category exceeds the seats available then merit list of the students will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in 10th /12th class .
- The Department shall inform the students of their selection under the scheme, in due course

Frequently Asked Questions
Can SC students from outside Delhi apply for the scheme?
No, the students need to be residents of Delhi state, students of other cities in NCR are not eligible for this scheme.
Is there a limit to the family income of the students to avail this scheme?
Yes, the total family income of such students' family should not be more than 8 LPA to avail this scheme.
How many times can a student avail the benefit of this scheme
Benefits under the scheme can be availed by a particular student not more than twice, irrespective of the number of chances; he/she may be entitled to in a particular competitive examination. And only 50% of the coaching fee is provided by the government in the second attempt.
Eligibility criteria for applying for Empanelment of Coaching Institutions
1 The institute should be a registered body or run by any organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860/ Companies Act, 2013 or any other relevant Act of the State/ Union Territory. 2. The institute should have experience of at least 3 years as on date of notification inviting applications from institutions for empanelment by the Department 3.The institute should have been fully functional for a minimum period of 3 years at the time of applying under this scheme and having a minimum enrolment of 100 students in the courses as indicated at para 2 here in above each year for at least two years, immediately prior to the year in which selected for empanelment. 4. The institute must have proper infrastructure to meet the entire requirement for providing quality coaching in the courses applied for.
