Scheduled Tribe students studying in Jharkhand state government schools from classes 1 to 10 can apply.

For classes 1st to 8th, there is no income limit. For classes 9th and 10th, the family's annual income must not exceed ₹2,50,000/-.

Applications are verified at the school level, then reviewed and approved by the District Welfare Officer (DNO) and the District-Level Approval Committee.

In such cases, the payment will be processed through NACH (National Automated Clearing House).

The amount is transferred directly to the bank account of the student or their parent/guardian through PFMS using DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
