To be eligible for the cycle scheme: 1. The beneficiary should be a child of a registered construction worker Under the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board of Punjab. 2. The beneficiary should be studying in any class between 9th to 12th in the State of Punjab. 3. The beneficiary should not have received any bicycle from the State Government under “Mai Bhago Cycle Scheme”.

No, the cycles are provided free of cost under this scheme.

For the application of the concerned welfare schemes of the Board, the construction worker has to visit the nearest Sewa Kendras or contact the Assistant Labour Commissioner/ Labour-cum-Conciliation Officer/ Labour Inspector/ Labour Enforcement Officer of the concerned area.
