The objective of the scheme is to reduce the burden of high expenditure of cancer patient and provide free chemotherapy for all type cancer at any stage.

The scheme was started on the 1st of August 2017 to tackle the growing incidences of cancer in the state.

MoU has been signed with TATA Memorial Hospital Mumbai for procurement of all the medicines at a concessional rate.

The regular State Government Employee and their Dependents are eligible to apply under the scheme.

1000 patients per year can take the benefits of this scheme.

Under this scheme, cancer patients will be provided the commonly used medicines for treatment of the disease free of cost with a ceiling of ₹10 lakh per person per year.

Other benefits such as free consultation and free counselling can also be availed by the cancer patient.

The benefit of the scheme can be availed during the period of entire treatment.

The applicant can visit nearest State Tertiary Cancer Centre and also contact the Nodal Officer for the Scheme.
