The scheme provides reimbursement for charges set by the institution.

To qualify, the applicant must belong to a Scheduled Caste.

The scheme supports students studying at the Post-Matric level or Post Secondary Stage.

The Residence-cum-nativity Certificate must be issued by the competent authority.

Necessary documents include Residence-cum-nativity Certificate, Caste Certificate, Passport-Size Photograph, Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook, Bonafide Certificate, Fee Structure, Hostel Certificate, Income Certificate, and Qualifying Certificates.

To be eligible, the annual income of the applicant should not exceed ₹2,00,000.

Admissible fee determined by the Fee Committee, reimbursement of institution charges, and provision of maintenance allowance for hostlers or day scholars.

The scheme aims to assist students at the Post-matric level or Post-Secondary stage in completing their education.

The guidelines do not mention any provision for compensation in the event of delayed disbursement of scheme benefits. Applicants should note that compensation for delays is not part of the scheme's framework.

Unfortunately, this scheme is exclusively available to permanent residents of the Puducherry. Applicants from neighboring States/UTs, among others, are not eligible to apply.
