The scheme provides immediate relief to destitute tribal brides, as well as disabled, elderly, blind, and extremely destitute individuals belonging to the Scheduled Tribes.

The scheme was launched on March 31, 2017.

Applicants must be Scheduled Tribe members, residents of Madhya Pradesh, and meet specific conditions such as being destitute, elderly, blind, disabled, or a tribal bride.

Relief includes financial assistance for marriages, damages to movable and immovable property, and support for economic losses like the destruction of wells or livestock.

The scheme offers a maximum of ₹15,000 for relief in case of house burning.

₹5,000 is provided as immediate relief for such losses.

Applicants must provide a valid caste certificate, proof of residence in Madhya Pradesh, and other relevant documents depending on the type of relief sought.

Relief up to ₹5,000 is approved by the Sub-Divisional Officer, while higher amounts are examined and approved by the Collector or the Departmental District Magistrate.

Applications can be submitted to the District Office of the Tribal Welfare Department or through the Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development.
