The objectives of the scheme are as follows: • To bring more areas under cultivation during the normally lean winter season under different crops other than paddy. • To increase production and productivity of various crops like cereals, pulses, oilseeds, and vegetables during Rabi Season.

The bonafide farmers of Meghalaya who are engaged in agriculture can avail the benefits under the scheme.

1. Free distribution of Agril inputs i.e. seeds, bio-pesticides/bio-fertilizers/fencing materials. 2. Conduct of farmers' training/ awareness programme. 3. Construction of water conservation structures i.e. check dams, and water harvesting ponds to facilitate Rabi cultivation.

Training, Extension, Technology Support, and Subsidy on Inputs.

The bonafide farmers who are engaged in agriculture can apply in plain paper to the nearest Horticulture Development Officer of a CD Block/ Agriculture circle.

The bonafide farmers shall be selected on a first come first serve basis.

Bonafide farmers can apply in plain paper through: 1. Sectoral Officer, Directorate of Agriculture 2. District Agriculture Officer 3. Sub-Divisional Officer 4. Agriculture Development Officer
