Eligibility
- A team of Students (2 to 10) in the field of technical education must be enrolled and undergo a technical course notified by the council in an AICTE-approved technical institution.
- Students of B.E./B.Tech. and/or Integrated M. Tech, 1st and 2nd-year students of M.E./M.Tech. who have an invitation for the competition which has been accepted in the international scientific event abroad Provided there is a national level event in which the team has won the top honors.
- The team of students will be eligible only once during the course of their study for financial support under the scheme.
Application Process
Documents Required
- A statement of account giving details of expenditure incurred on various items viz., travel, airport tax, registration fee, and visa fee.
- A technical report and a utilization certificate in the prescribed format from the technical institution approved by the Council/university auditor/chartered accountant for the total expenditure incurred on the visit.
- The details of assistance received or facilities provided by the organizer of the competition or any other similar Indian/foreign agency.
- The amount made available by the Technical Institution approved by the Council/University/State Government and other sources.
- Certificate of participation in the competition.
- Conversion rate of the US dollar into Indian currency. (From any bank or other financial Institution).
- Copy of related documents in which the team has won the top honors in the national event.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if there are Two Or More Applications For The Same Competition?
The submission of a proposal does not automatically mean that it has the approval of the AICTE. In case of two or more applications for the same competition, only one application will be considered and priority will be given to the first author.
What is the Procedure For Approval Of The Proposal?
The proposal(s) received duly completed in all respects will be evaluated by expert. Based on their recommendation, a final decision will be taken by the AICTE.
What is the Procedure For Release Of Grant?
The entire amount subject to a maximum one lac per student will be disbursed in one instalment after competition is over and relevant documents are submitted by the applicants/Institutes.
Does The Submission Of A Proposal Mean That It Has The Approval Of The AICTE?
