State Merit Scholarship to Under Graduate Girls Students
Details
Benefits
- ₹3,000/- per student per annum.
- Awarded to 10 girl students per government college.
- The scholarship is tenable for three years during undergraduate studies.
- To continue receiving the scholarship, the applicant must secure at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination each year.
- If an applicant cannot appear for the annual exam due to illness, renewal may be granted upon submission of a valid medical certificate approved by the Head of the Institution.
- Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
- Only for students pursuing general academic courses in Government Colleges.
- Scholarship renewal depends on satisfactory progress and conduct.
- The scholarship may be revoked or changed at any time at the discretion of the government.
Eligibility
- The applicant should be a girl.
- The applicant should be a student.
- The applicant should have passed 10+2 with at least 60% marks.
- The applicant should be pursuing an undergraduate general degree course in a Government College in Haryana.
- The applicant should not hold any other scholarship or stipend.
- The applicant may accept a grant for books, equipment, boarding, or lodging from the State Government or other sources.
- There is no income limit for availing of this scholarship.
- Marks are calculated up to three decimal places.
- If still tied, the younger applicant will get priority.
Exclusions
- The applicant should not be enrolled in a correspondence course or an open university.
- If an applicant is found ineligible at any stage, scholarship renewal will not be granted.
- If any incorrect or incomplete information is provided, the scholarship will be cancelled.
