• Financial Assistance: Up to 50% of the project cost (excluding land and building costs).
• Maximum Funding: A maximum of ₹50,00,000/- per project.
• Support for Research Development: Facilitates technological advancements through sponsored research.

Eligible institution:

1. All Research and Development Institutions recognized by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) / Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR).
2. Institutions set up by the Government of Gujarat (GoG) / Government of India (Gol).
3. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved institutions/professional colleges, (including autonomous as well as those colleges affiliated with Universities).
4. Any other institution as approved by SLEC.

Eligible Activities:

1. Proposals for contract/sponsored research by eligible institutions from Industrial Associations or individual industrial undertaking or government or any other agency as approved by SLEC.

1. Copy of Project Sanction Letter Issued by IC office.
2. Copy of Registration of the Institution / Industry / enterprise / Academia / Professional Body issued by competent authority along with MoM / AoA filed with the competent authority.
3. Copy of CSIR/ DSIR Recognition Letter.
4. CA Certificate.
5. CA certified Expenditure Statement.
6. Details of Sponsoring Industries / Institution / Organization.
7. Undertaking / Agreement of beneficiary industry/ promoter to share proportionate cost of Contract Research Work.
8. Project Progress Report along with the details of milestones achieved, Outcomes of R&D proposed, Details of Asset creation, Benefit to the society, Benefit to the Industries, Details of Patent Filed / Granted, Details of International / National Publications, Impact analysis of the R&D and other relevant details related to the project.
9. Employment Details of Technical qualified manpower in Prescribed format.
10. Project Completion Certificate (PCC) in Prescribed format.
11. Copy of GR, Notification, If the organization is established by Government of India or Government of Gujarat.
12. Notarized undertaking for fulfilment of the conditions mentioned in the Sanction letter along with copy of relevant Board Resolution / Competent Authority in Prescribed format.
13. Bank Details / Cancel cheque for assistance to be received under this scheme.
14. Copy of PAN Card.
15. Copy of GPCB Consent (If Applicable).
