No, only acid attack victims who are residents of Punjab State are eligible to avail of the benefits.

An applicant shall be required to submit the following documents with the application:- 1. Medical Certificate 2. Copy of FIR 3. An attested copy of one document out of the voter list, Electoral Photo Identity Card, Aadhar card, Passport, Driving License, and Residence certificate. 4. Bank Account details.

The victim or victim's parents/guardian/legal heir/family member/any relative may submit an application to the concerned District Social Security Officer.
