A1. The primary objective of the National Productivity Council (NPC) is to generate productivity awareness and consciousness across the country, supporting organizations to improve their economic, environmental, and social outputs through advanced knowledge application.

A2. NPC offers a range of services, including consultancy, training for capacity building, action research, and evaluation studies, customized to suit the client's needs for improving productivity and competitiveness.

A3. Interns are expected to demonstrate sincerity, punctuality, courtesy, cooperative attitude, willingness to learn, proper etiquette, and appropriate attire. They must also maintain workplace decorum throughout their internship period.

A4. Interns are expected to perform the assigned tasks and duties with due care and diligence as per the instructions provided to them. They must also submit a project/assignment report/paper at the end of their internship to the concerned Head(s) regarding their learning experience.

A5. Interns are required not to disclose any proprietary or confidential information relating to the services, contract, or business operations of NPC or its clients during or after the internship period without seeking prior written consent from NPC.

A6. If an intern violates the non-disclosure agreement, NPC may take necessary action to safeguard its interests and the interests of the Council.

A7. Yes, NPC has the authority to terminate an intern's engagement or program at any time, especially in cases of misconduct or discipline, without providing any reason. NPC's decision in this regard is considered final.

A8. Yes, interns can voluntarily leave the internship program by giving prior notice of seven (07) working days to the concerned Head. However, if an intern leaves the program voluntarily, they will not be awarded a certificate.

A9. No, the internship program is not a guarantee of employment with NPC. It is solely an opportunity for learning and gaining practical experience.

A10. If NPC discovers a material error in an intern's application or resume at any point in time, the internship offer may be deemed null and void in NPC's opinion.

A11. No, interns are not allowed to take any information about NPC's software, hardware, database, and policies outside the organization, whether in electronic form or otherwise.

A12. The copyright of the software/applications developed by interns as part of their assigned project work remains with NPC. Interns cannot claim any rights on the work performed by them during the internship.

A13. NPC holds absolute rights to the work assigned and performed by interns during their internship. Neither the interns nor their institution/college can make any claims on the resultant outcome.

A14. NPC may provide specific guidelines or a format for the project/assignment report to be submitted by interns, which they need to follow while preparing the report.

A15. Interns who successfully complete the internship program can apply for future internships with NPC, provided they meet the eligibility criteria and requirements of the new internship opportunity.
