“Mukhyamantri Mahalaxmi Kit Yojana” is a social security scheme by the Department of Women Empowerment and Child Development, Government of Uttarakhand, that aims to provide nutritional kits to the postpartum mothers and their daughters.

This scheme has been launched by the Department of Women Empowerment and Child Development, Government of Uttarakhand.

Postpartum women and their daughters are the targeted beneficiaries under this scheme.

This scheme provides nutritional kits to the mothers and their daughters.

There is no specific age criteria for the beneficiaries.

Concerned parents should visit their nearest Anganwadi Centre with all the necessary documents as directed.

For Mothers: Dry fruits, socks, scarp towels, shawls, blankets, bedsheets, sanitary pads, mustard oil, soap, nail cutters etc

For the girl child: Cotton/warm cap, sock, loincloth, towel, baby soap, rubber sheet, warm blanket, vaccination card etc.

Only Two girl child will be cover under the scheme.

For Mother: Medical proof of being a postpartum woman. Identity proof. For Daughter: Proof of birth.
