Mukhyamantri Kalakar Sahayata Yojana is a scheme initiated by the Odisha State Government to provide financial assistance and support to aged artists who have dedicated themselves to enriching and preserving the arts and culture of Odisha.

An artist of Odisha state can apply under the scheme.

An artist in order to be eligible for the assistance shall be of a minimum of 50 years of age in the case of males and 40 years and above in the case of female artists.

Yes, the annual income of the artist shall not exceed ₹50,000/- only for the artists belonging to the Rural Area and ₹60,000/- only for the artists belonging to the Urban Area or as may further be determined by the Government from time to time.

No, an artist covered under this scheme will not be eligible for similar benefits under any other scheme of the Government.

The financial assistance for an artist is ₹1200/- per month.

The pension can be cancel:- • On his/her death • On the satisfaction of the Government that information furnished to the District Level Selection Committee in pursuance was either erroneous, false or inconclusive (or) • On the determination by the Government that the beneficiary has indulged in activities prejudicial to the public interest or public order (or) • On his/her ceasing to have the eligibility • Non-submission of Life Certificate within the prescribed date line during each year.
