Details
The "Mukhyamantri Hunar Vikas Yojana - Professional/Technical Training" scheme was launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Rajasthan, with the objective of providing vocational and technical skill development training to beneficiary boys and girls under the State Government’s Palanhar Scheme, to make them self-reliant. The scheme aims to make every possible effort to provide employment opportunities and a respectable livelihood to these beneficiaries after the completion of their training.
Under this scheme, vocational/technical training is provided to Palanhar beneficiary boys and girls through recognized training providers such as the Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC), Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL), Jan Shikshan Sansthan, or industrial training institutes recognized by the State or Central Government.
The scheme is implemented by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Rajasthan, at the state level and by the Deputy Director/Assistant Director, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, at the district level.
Benefits
Professional/Technical Training Benefits:
- Vocational/technical training will be provided to Palanhar beneficiary boys/girls through recognized training providers by the Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation / Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL) / Jan Shikshan Sansthan / industrial training institutes recognized by the state government/central government.
- The State Government will reimburse the prescribed fees and other expenses to the training provider institute for the related program.
- If the boy/girl wants to avail hostel or any other prescribed facility/fee (mess fee, stationery and dress fee) of the concerned institute, then that will also be reimbursed.
- A maximum of 2 training programmes can be availed under this scheme, provided the beneficiary is below 21 years of age or till the completion of the respective course.
- The boy / girl receiving training under the scheme will be given a training certificate by the concerned institute / training provider.
Note: Fees and other expenses will be provided directly to the concerned training institute after admission of the boy / girl in the respective programme.
Eligibility
- The applicant should be a beneficiary under the Palanhar Scheme of Rajasthan.
- The applicant should have completed 15 years of age.
- The applicant’s maximum age should not exceed 21 years, or till course completion (whichever is earlier).
Application Process
Offline
Application Process:
To avail of the benefits of the scheme, the applicant needs to contact their recognized training institution.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the recognized training institution.
Step 4: The recognized training institution forwards the student's application to the District Officer, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, with the training program details.
Post-Application Process:
Step 1: Verification and approval are to be completed within one month.
Step 2: Fees and additional costs will be reimbursed directly to the institution.
