The scheme is implemented by the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board (GBOCWWB), under the Labour, Skill Development & Employment Department, Government of Gujarat.

The scheme aims to provide primary, secondary, and higher education to the children of migrant construction workers by offering free hostel facilities for accommodation and meals.

Children of registered construction workers studying in government primary and secondary schools of the district are eligible. Additionally, the construction workers themselves must be registered with the GBOCWWB.

Under the scheme, children of migrant construction workers receive free accommodation in primary school hostels.

Applicants need to visit the nearest office of the District Development Officer to avail the benefits under the scheme.
