You must have been engaged in the business of making traditional Goan breads for at least 20 years, and you will need to provide documentation to prove this engagement period.

The eligible traditional bread products include Pao, Undho, Poie, Kakon, and similar products. These must be produced and sold by traditional Goan bakers.

You can submit either a Permanent SSI registration, EM Part-II acknowledgment from Industries Directorate, License from Legal Metrology Department, or certification from Village Panchayat certified by BDO/Municipal Corporation proving 20 years of business.

You must be a Goan resident by birth and must submit your birth certificate as proof. This is a mandatory requirement for eligibility.

You must obtain and include a recommendation from the All Goa Bakers Association, which must be registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.

You would fall under Category A (≤50 kg maida per day) and would be eligible for a cash subsidy of Rs. 4 per kg for your daily maida usage.

You would fall under Category B (51-100 kg) and receive Rs. 4 per kg for the first 50 kg and Rs. 2 per kg for the remaining 30 kg of maida.

You would fall under Category C (101-150 kg) and receive Rs. 4 per kg for first 50 kg, Rs. 2 per kg for next 50 kg, and Rs. 1 per kg for remaining 20 kg.

No subsidy will be provided for maida consumption beyond 150 kilograms per day. This is the absolute upper limit for subsidy calculation.

Claims can be submitted quarterly (Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec, Jan-Mar), and bills must be submitted within 30 days of the end of each relevant quarter.

You must purchase maida from government marketing federations or marketing co-operative societies like Sahakar Bhandar, Bardez Bazar, or Goa Bhagyatdar as approved by GHRSSIDC.

The scheme aims to maintain the price of 50-gram Pao at Rs. 3, valid for 5 years, after which the government may review the price.
