The scheme is implemented by the Haryana Labour Welfare Board, Government of Haryana.

Silicosis is an incurable lung disease caused by inhaling silica dust, prevalent in workplaces like stone crushers and mines.

Financial assistance of ₹3,500/- per month is provided after the death of the worker due to Silicosis.

The spouse of the deceased worker or one of their living parents is eligible to receive the financial assistance.

If the deceased worker was married, the assistance will be given to the widow or widower until he/she remains alive.

If the deceased worker was unmarried, the financial assistance will be given to his/her living parents.

Eligible applicants may visit the nearest Antyodaya Kendra or Labour Office and fill up the application form.
