The Cash Award Scheme is an initiative by the Assam Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, under the Labour Welfare Department, Government of Assam. This scheme aims to provide cash awards to the children of registered construction workers based on their performance in HSLC, AHM, and H.S. examinations.

Cash awards are distributed based on academic performance. Students scoring 75% or above, 65% or less than 75%, and 55% or less than 65% will receive ₹5,000/-, ₹4,000/-, and ₹3,500/- respectively in HSLC, AHM, and H.S. examinations.

The scheme benefits three male and three female children of registered construction workers in each district, totaling six beneficiaries per district.

The applicant student must be a permanent resident of Assam.

The applicant's parent should be engaged in any building & other construction work.

Yes, the applicant's parent should be registered with the Assam Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

To be eligible, the parent of the applicant must have an active membership with the Board.

Yes, to avail of the benefits, students must have obtained a minimum of 55% or above in the HSLC, AHM, and H.S examinations.
