Details
The scheme "Atma Nirbhar Plantation Yojana (ANPY)" was launched by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, aims to promote self-reliance in the agriculture sector through sustainable plantation activities across the state's diverse agro-climatic zones. Under this scheme, support in the form of plantation assistance and allied resources is provided to individual farmers, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).

Eligibility
- The Scheme can be applied by individual farmers as well as Self-Help Groups (SHGs)/ Farmers Producer Organizations (FPOs).
Eligibility Criteria for Individual Farmers
- The applicant should be a native of Arunachal Pradesh.
- The applicant should be an individual farmer.
- The applicant should have landholding between 0.50 hectares and 25 hectares.
- The applicant should not be a bank defaulter.
- The applicant should not be a government servant.
Eligibility Criteria for Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
- The applicant should be a Self-Help Group (SHG) based in Arunachal Pradesh.
- The SHG should have a minimum of 1.0 hectare and up to 50 hectares of land.
- The SHG should not be a bank defaulter.
- An already existing SHGs prior to involvement of SrLM shall be considered.
- SHGs formed for small-scale industries such as weaving, knitting, tailoring, and other similar businesses shall not be entertained or considered eligible.
Note: The SHGs formed especially for Agri- sector shall be given priority.
Eligibility Criteria for Farmers Producer Organizations (FPOs)
- The Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) should be registered in Arunachal Pradesh.
- The FPO should have a minimum of 5 hectares and a maximum of 50 hectares of land.
- The FPO should have at least 100 shareholders.
- The FPO should submit at least one audited Balance Sheet.
- All board members and shareholders of FPO should be non-defaulters to any bank/financial institution.
- All types of FPOs engaged in agriculture business will get benefit from this programme.

New User Registration
- Select the "Login" option.
- Subsequently, click on the "Register Here" link.
- Complete the registration form with the requisite details, including your name, Aadhaar card number, email ID, and mobile number.
- Establish a password for your account.
- Upon successful registration, the applicant will receive a User ID and password.
Login & Application Process:
- Log in using the provided User ID and password to access the application form.
- Fill in the complete application form.
- Upload the required documents, including a photograph, caste certificate, residential certificate, and land ownership proof, etc.
- Submit the application form.

Who are the eligible beneficiaries under scheme?

- Individual Farmers: Minimum 0.50 hectare; Maximum 25 hectares.

Are there any restrictions on the type of SHGs that can apply?
Yes. SHGs formed specifically for agricultural activities are eligible. SHGs established for small-scale industries like weaving, knitting, tailoring, or other non-agricultural businesses are not qualified for this scheme.
Are government employees eligible to apply for ANPY?
No. Government servants are not eligible to apply for this scheme.
Can bank defaulters apply for the scheme?
No. Individuals or entities with a history of bank defaults are not eligible for ANPY.
What are the eligibility criteria for FPOs under scheme?
FPOs must:
- Be registered entities.
- Have at least one audited balance sheet.
- Ensure all board members and shareholders are non-defaulters.
- Have a minimum of 100 shareholders.
How can one apply for the ANPY scheme?
Interested applicants should visit the District Agriculture Office in their respective districts for application details and submission.
Is there an online application process for ANPY?
Yes. Applicants can register and apply online through the official Atma Nirbhar Yojana portal of Arunachal Pradesh.
Can existing SHGs formed before the involvement of SrLM apply?
Yes. SHGs that were established prior to the involvement of the State Rural Livelihoods Mission (SrLM) are eligible to apply.
